You are one of the most recognizable Artists for the Stars. Tell us about your favorite works.
I am definitely recognized as a diverse artist with my unique ideas, and I use different types of media to showcase my work. I produced a lot of series of art that are now in one of the top places in the world including, The Glass House NY. My Nebulas collection in now in the heart of Chelsea. One of my favorites for sure!
Women’s Empowerment is throughout your paintings. Why is this so important to you?
I did a lot of women’s portraits in the past. I picked the most favorite characters for my illustrated book, Art of Empowerment which is to Empower other women that have lived in the society where women married with sexist and racist assumptions but not anymore. The stories of “Empower Women“ and their success destroys any stereotypes that they can make it Big!
Your book, Art of Empowerment showcases Marilyn Monroe, Meryl Streep, Al Pacino, Steven Myers, Kathleen Cleaver and more. Why did you choose these individuals for your collection?
I described many other inspiring stories of self-made people in that book. Stories of new immigrants that became very successful, growing up disadvantaged and poor and become a billionaire also brings a lot of encouragement. Starving artists, challenging movie stars paths all this interesting bios I included in my book “The Art of Empowerment.”
How do you see art as a voice for empowerment?
Art as a voice of Empowerment could inspire many people. The way mind works is not how you feel at the moment, It’s about manifestation of images where you want to be in the future and getting there. I believe that art should be giving a lot of light and hope for the best!
What has been the most exciting project?
My most beautiful portraits are coming soon. I am in the middle of painting Angelina Jolie. I followed her for many years and she is the most accomplished and Empowering Women characters I’ve ever painted. Forbes Magazine voted her as one of the ‘highest-paid actresses’ with an estimated net worth of over $120 million. Angelina is a humanitarian and UN Goodwill Ambassador. She is a prominent animal rights activist, Mother of 6 kids. She fights Women’s rights all her life. And even being announced the Most beautiful Women on a planet she removed both of her breasts for the risk of cancer, reversing minds of many people. I am including her in my “Art of Empowerment” collection to inspire with her amazing story.
The Mission of my book is to create series of them with the most interesting stories of self-made and accomplished people. I don’t pick people randomly. I am into their biographies more than looks.
The electronic version of “Art of Empowerment” shows many portraits in my virtual catalogue. The book isn’t finished yet and I will share the full version of it when it’s ready.
