Although Adam Sandler’s Netflix films may not have received widespread acclamation, Netflix is convinced that they are being watched by enough people.

As such, the company has signed up for four more flicks from the movie producer.

The films are in addition to the two remaining ones that Sandler is yet to release, as part of his 2014 deal with Netflix.

His company, Happy Madison Productions will produce each film.

Sandler’s first two films for Netflix were Western spoof ‘The Ridiculous 6’, and action-comedy ‘The Do-Over.’

Critically, the two films flopped, garnering a 0 percent and 5 percent ‘fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

But luckily for Sandler, Netflix does not report viewership numbers and said the movies ‘are the biggest film releases’ it has had so far.

“Adam Sandler, one of the leading comedians in the film world, and his motives have proven to be extremely successful with our subscribers around the world,” said Netflix’s chief content editor Ted Sarandos in a statement.

Sarandos added that Netflix is thrilled at the opportunity to extend its partnership with Sandler and his team at Happy Madison and keep people laughing.

Responding to questions about the decision, Sarandos said that the move was motivated by the consistent viewership patterns Netflix has noticed on Sandler’s flicks.

The Hollywood icon’s next film, ‘Sandy Wexler’, is scheduled to debut on Netflix on April 14. The company likens this movie to Sandler’s highly acclaimed ‘The Wedding Singer’ and ’50 First Dates’, both of which starred Drew Barrymore.

In ‘Sandy Wexler’, Sanders appears as an oddball coach with an eye for talent. Jennifer Hudson co-stars in the flick.
