Actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum celebrated her 37th birthday this Sunday, and husband Channing Tatum made sure to wish her the happiest of birthdays.
In honor of the special day, Tatum shared a black-and-white photo on Instagram of the World of Dance host makeup-free, sexily, dripping with water, and making direct contact with the camera.
“This creature is one more year beautiful,” the caption reads, “The transformation she invoked this year has been something they only write about in books of fairytale and magic.”
“Your strength and grace ever evolving,” the Magic Mike creator wrote. “By doing so you make everything around you grow – everything. And I am so very grateful for your lessons. Happy life day my love. #leica.”
The couple celebrated Dewan’s day with a beach vacation in Cabo San Lucas over the weekend. A series of posts on her Instagram show that they had a relaxing time, enjoying the sun with tequila on the side.
One post showed the dancer in a sexy, black, deep-plunging one piece with the words ‘Happy Birthday Jenna’ perfectly stenciled in the sand. “This year has been one I will never forget,” Dewan captioned the picture.
“Challenging, beautiful and wonderfully expansive all at the same time. But I know for sure that every experience you have is here for your own growth and when viewed that way, the magic of life will show you the way. Thank you all for my birthday wishes!!”
The couple, who met in 2009 on the set of Step Up, also celebrated their eighth anniversary in July. Together they have one daughter, 4-year-old Everly.
