Modeling and being an influencer has provided Lauren with extensive collaboration experience with some of the most esteemed brands, photographers, and celebrity stylists. Lauren has traveled the world visiting 22 countries and amassing three quarters of a million Instagram followers watching her adventures. A new found passion arose in Lauren, sparking her to take a risk and pursue a different career path towards her love of travel, hosting, and content creation. She now has her own travel show on OFTV featuring the most exclusive, expensive, and instagrammable resorts in the world with destinations including Africa, Maldives, Dubai, and many more.
Did you always want to be a model?
Surprisingly no! I started in the medical field aspiring to be a dermatologist. Everything I worked for in my life up to the age of 20 was to go to med school for that profession. In college, I found a calling for modeling and many amazing opportunities arose, which made me fall more in love with the work and decide to take a leap of faith to pursue that path.
You have traveled the world during your career. Which are your fondest places?
Definitely the Amalfi coast Italy! The food is amazing, the views are gorgeous, and the energy is so magical. I would recommend anyone to travel there to experience it for yourself.
Tell us about your show on OFTV.
So, I have a travel show on OFTV where I go around the world and film and feature some of the most exclusive and luxurious Hotels. Some featured are Giraffe hotels in Kenya, overwater bungalows in Maldives, penthouses in Dubai, tree houses in Mexico, and many other cool places. As the world opens back up, I would like to continue traveling and showcasing some of the worlds coolest vacation spots.
Share some of your achievements.
Educationally, I was granted many academic scholarships and graduated top of my class with cum laude honors in biochemistry. I was also awarded emerging leader of the year. Outside of that, I built a following that allowed me to travel and engage an audience so that I could live my dream.
You have almost 1M Followers on Instagram. What is your key to success?
It’s always important to track what your audience likes and create content for them. I keep my content fresh by continuously going to new places to shoot and trying to come up with cool concepts that are outside the box of what you typically see on your feed!
Tell us about your collaborations as an Influencer and real estate.
I do luxury property rentals in Los Angeles as well. I have access to about 200 of the most luxurious mansions in the area that people can rent from me for a weekend or a few months. It’s fun for me to provide an amazing experience for anyone visiting the city. I’m always taken care of when I travel, so when people come to LA I do my best to take care of them!
What projects would excite you?
More travel, haha of course! I would also like to start working on fashion projects. I love designing outfits together in conjunction with the scenery I’ll be shooting in. Styling is very fun for me so projects involving both those aspects would be very exciting.
Your advice for young girls starting out?
Don’t get discouraged if you don’t blow up overnight. It’s a slow grind, but it’s well worth it! Keep doing what you love to do, and your audience will follow. You don’t have to change anything to try and appeal to the masses, your audience should love you for you.
What’s next for you?
Next, I would like to film more episodes of my TV show. I would also like to start building out my business which should launch in October! I have a very fun secret project coming out that I can’t wait to share with you!
