Tell us about your background.

I was born in Texas and raised in Kansas. I lived in LA though in between that time and I just knew if I wanted to act I had to get back to LA.

At 3-years-old you received your SAG Card. Share your experience in modeling and acting.

Modeling is something I’ve known since I was so young and has kept me busy. It’s fun to meet new people, travel and try a bunch of outrageous looks. However, acting has been my number one goal and something I have a great passion for.  I’ve definitely have had my ups and downs with the industry but that’s for everyone. All actors want more auditions and that breakthrough role. What I’ve learned is to try to better yourself each and everyday, focus on the craft, redirect your plan of action if needed to and have patience.

What do you look for in a role? Do you have a favorite role?

I get really excited about parts that aren’t anything like me or parts that are similar to things I have been through. I like gritty roles and comedic roles. Changing into someone entirely different than me is a dream. My favorite role was my role in the play I performed in New York. I loved how in theater the character gets monologues to the audience to tell them exactly how they feel.

Tell us about the Best of at the BEA awards for documentary.

It was a college course and we had to team up as a crew to make a documentary and the finishing product got nominated for the BEA awards. They paid us to travel to Vegas for it and then there we won the BEST OF! We got scholarship money from winning as a trophy as well. It was really cool to see what a team of girls can do when they work together!

How have you evolved as an actress? Any new projects in the works?

OMG sooooo much! I used to be frightened by auditions. I also remember when I told people I was an actress, it seemed phony or like I was a fraud saying it but I just kept saying it until I was used to it. Eventually I didn’t bat an eye, it became my identity. I went to lots of schools to find what method actually worked for me. I learned acting is a muscle you have to constantly work just like your body at the gym. Acting I find to be really intent with yourself, you have to understand yourself fully so evolving as a person is mandatory. It takes time to learn from the mistakes you make along the way and to get all the tools necessary to become an amazing actor.

Tell us about your work as a Producer and Host.

One of my first jobs after moving to LA was working as a producer on a dating show that I hosted. Since then I produced, directed and acted in a series that was a one man show. I’ve also  produced a COVID related show that I’m hoping will get picked up soon.

What’s next for you in your acting and modeling career?

As for modeling, I’m launching a set of NFT’s with a crypto currency and heading for fashion week this Fall. As for acting, I just did my annual headshots, working on a Shakespearean piece and will be finishing my two year acting program at the end of September. I’m planning to launch lots of fun content when I’m done.
